及川禅の世界　Zen Oikawa's World.

Psychedelic Band「SPACE MANDALA」で1975年からギタリストとして演奏活動を開始。作家で音楽プロデューサーだった米国人リチャード・ブラウンがメンバーを選びバンドを結成した。
及川禅・ギター、堀部マコト・ベース、松本雅邦・ドラム、による即興サイケデリックロック・トリオとして年間100本以上のライブをこなした。
「音楽がすべての幸福の始まり」を標榜し「MUSIC LOVE PEACE FREEDOM HAPPINESS」をスペース・マンダラ音楽革命の教義とした。
1979～80インド・ゴアでのライブツアー（CD発売中）などから70年代カウンターカルチャーの幻のサイケバンドと呼ばれる。
以降、及川禅ソロとなってからも国内外の音楽フェス、レイブ、即興セッション、ダンス、舞踏公演などに出演。
コアなファンに支えられ現在も音楽活動を続ける。LIve活動以外にも、1988～1993スタジオジブリの
作品「紅の豚」「おもひでぽろぽろ」「海が聞こえる」耳を澄ませば」など、
音楽プロデューサーとして宮崎駿、高畠勲、久石譲氏と共に制作に携わる。
大映による日露合作劇場用映画「おろしや国酔夢譚」では音楽プロデューサーとして日本アカデミー映画音楽賞を受賞。
また音楽CD作品ではMORGAN FISHER、MARK GOLDEBERG、梅津和時、他、数々のアルバムをプロデュース。
2000年以降、野外フェス「COSMIC PEACE DAY」・時間をはずした日の祭り、でマヤンカレンダー研究家「ホセ・エグアイエス」と共演。

2011.3.11以降、関東から三重県伊勢市へ移住。
現在は伊勢を中心に活動を続けている。

American Richard Brown, a writer and music producer, selected members to form a band.
The band performed more than 100 live performances a year as an improvisation psychedelic rock trio by Zen Oikawa, Guitar, Makoto Horibe Bass, Masakuni Matsumoto , Drums.
"Music is the beginning of all happiness" and "MUSIC LOVE PEACE FREEDOM HAPPINESS" was the doctrine 
of the Space Mandala music revolution.
It is called the phantom psychedelic band of the 70's counter culture from the live tour (CD on sale) in Goa, India from 1979 to 80.
Since then, he has performed at music festivals, raves, improvisational sessions, dances, butoh performances in Japan and abroad since becoming a Zen Oikawa solo.
Supported by his core fans, he continues to be active in music. In addition to LIve activities, 1988-1993 Studio Ghibli
Works such as "Porco rosso", "Ohohide pororo" and "I Can Hear the Sea"
As a music producer, he worked with Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata, and Jo Hisaishi.
Filmmaker Daiei won the Japan Academy Award for Film Music as a music producer for his film "Dream of Russia" for the Russo-Japanese Theater.
In addition, he produced many other albums including MORGAN FISHER, MARK GOLDEBERG, Kazutoki Umezu, and many other music CD works.
Since 2000, he has performed with The Mayan Calendar Researcher "Jose Eguayes" at the outdoor festival "COSMOC PEACE DAY" and the festival of the day when the time was off.
